[For once, Jonathan Hollom is not hidden away in his room at House Seven. He is, instead, in a small room in the library, having preferred the privacy of it rather than the log cabin rec center. It's a quiet little nook, and he's affixed a cross on the wall. Just a small thing he found at the item shop. And he's gathered a few different versions of the Christian Bible he found for a shelf in there.
Simply to have them immediately on hand should someone want one.
Rather than immediately taking to writing his sermon, he speaks into the journal for the first time.]
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thought of--
[No. His voice is too shaky. He does not trust himself.
So he takes up his pen.]
